Partnerships Lead

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful individual to initiate and manage partnerships for ART X, both local and international, building on the strong relationships we already possess within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with corporate brands, institutions, and other key stakeholders to support the company’s programming and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strategy: Enhance and implement ART X’s partnership strategy to create a high quality, commercially successful partnership model.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture strong relationships with existing and potential partners, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Pitches & Contract Negotiation: Develop compelling presentations and sponsorship packages for prospective and existing partners; negotiate partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align partnership strategies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare high quality regular reports and documentation on partnership activities, achievements, and financial impact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership opportunities to continuously enhance the company’s offerings.
  • Brand Development & Innovation:  Being actively involved in and taking responsibility for shaping and developing the ART X brand through innovative and cutting edge global partnerships.
About You
  • You have at least 7 years of partnership and/or sales experience from a relevant industry with a demonstrable record of success
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, the culture and creative industries
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities to secure favourable terms and maximise value for all parties involved.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative partnership strategies that align with the company’s objectives and contribute to long-term success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, deliver presentations, and create compelling partnership proposals.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • You are independent but also enjoy being part of a close-knit team 
Role Specifications

This person will work remotely and will be engaged on a part-time basis (preference for locations compatible with GMT and WAT time zones). They must be flexible to travel to Lagos during key periods, with stays for 2-3 months.
