Over the past 9 years, ART X Collective has built platforms and experiences that celebrate and amplify the breadth of Africa’s creative expression, including ART X Lagos – the premier international art fair in West Africa; ART X Prize – Nigeria’s leading award for emerging visual artists; and ART X Live! – a dynamic live showcase and launchpad for rising musicians and artists.

We’re looking for an individual to work closely with the Admin Manager to support administrative tasks with the goal of ensuring optimal operations.

The ideal candidate must communicate clearly and effectively, have great attention to detail and be organized. They will:

  • Ensure the office is running smoothly and assist in handling tasks and resolving issues related to daily operational activities.
  • Assist in managing team welfare.
  • Assist in inventory management of company property, merchandise and materials.
  • Liaise with the company’s vendors, maintain vendor relationships and handle vendor negotiations.
  • Manage the supply of office stationery and work tools needed by the team.
  • Assist with travel logistics: managing hotel bookings, vehicle hire, flight bookings (local and international), and airport concierge.
  • Assist with the management of incoming and outgoing ‘mail’.
  • Handle out-of-office tasks with external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations / Admin Manager.

Preferred Skills and Requirements

  • Intermediate to basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Great attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Well organized
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
