ART X Lagos was launched as a dynamic platform to showcase and support the breadth of contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. The fair has since become a cornerstone of the African art sector. The first of its kind in West Africa, ART X Lagos is a unique cultural event that goes beyond the bounds of traditional art fairs and delivers several days of dynamic art experiences and events.
Since its debut, ART X Lagos has grown to host galleries and artists from over 40 countries and become renowned for its ambitious programme, which includes ART X Talks, ART X Live! and specially curated interactive projects, and which has featured an array of emerging and established artists from the content and diaspora.
The eighth edition fair, themed The Dialogue, held from 2 – 5 November 2023.
